Chag Sameach Succot! Post in Progress, succah in progress!!

One thing I have asked of ADONAI, that will I seek:  to dwell in the House of ADONAI all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of ADONAI, and to meditate in His Temple.

For in the day of trouble

He will hide me in His sukkah

conceal me in the shelter of His tent, and set me high upon a rock.  Then will my head be high above my enemies around me.  In His Tabernacle I will offer sacrifices with shouts of joy.

I will sing, yes, sing praises to ADONAI.

Psalm 27:4~6

Shabbat Shalom!

A Chag Sameach, joy filled Succot to all!

love, Shayndel

  4. It looks beautiful - the sukkah, and all the rest!
We are on lockdown; people have built a sukkat but they don't stay in it as in previous years. Family gatherings are not allowed.

    CHAG SAMEAH TO YOU!

    1. Thank you Duta! I have been sleeping in the succa too this year, the first time I have really `dwelled` in it!! Also added a little more leaves and a few decorations...
I am sorry about the lockdown, also a little sad to hear people don`t stay in it as in previous years, it seems that is what the succa is about, that even in all circumstances, to realize it is God who is our shelter and protector. Its something I have been learning more in this time. I will post more pictures too, so please come again and have some gobo tea (root vegetable tea) and Hebrew letter challah!!! lol!!! Blessings and Chag Sameah!! ♡
