Galilee Succah! Menuchah! and AHAVA!

Dear Friends,

Welcome back! I hope you are all well!

I took an unintentional blog break during the season of Fall Feasts.  I hope you all had a blessed time during the Feasts of the LORD from Elul to Sukkot to rejoicing in Simchat Torah!!!

I am posting this post as a `waiting room` to invite you to enjoy this view of the sunrise on the sea of Galilee through the `Galilee Succah` ~~outside of time and space, as this photo was taken at the Pomegranate Hotel a few springs ago! *Actual name and location is the Rimonim hotel (Rimonim= Pomegranates!) on the Sea of Galilee in Israel!

Menuchah (word in post title ) means rest and is a word for this week as well as I am coming back to the blog in the week of Parsha Noah!  Noah`s name means `rest` in Hebrew.   In the story of Noah we can see so many foreshadows of the true fulfillment of God`s promised rest and Salvation in Yeshua who says,

Come to me all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.  Matthew 11:28 (the word `rest` in Hebrew is Menuchah)

I will hope to share a few posts from the holidays.  Some highlights included the first miracle, which was that my daughter came home for Rosh Hashanah!! It was so wonderful to see her! And the second was that I was able to build my first succah `outside` of my home for others to enjoy in the community at the start of the holiday of Sukkot!  Both were answers to prayer!  To spend the beginning of the holidays with my daughter, and to share the feasts of the LORD with my community in Japan!!

Meanwhile I also have started a new Website for AHAVA Prayer and Movement!

Please stop by at:

See you again soon !! ❤️

Love and Blessings,

Shayndel

May mercy and shalom and love*  be multiplied to you.    Judah (Jude)  1:2

Shabbat Shalom! Blessing!

With Love to all, Blessings and Shalom!

Shabbat Shalom!

Love,

❤️

Shayndel

It`s the month of Elul and a month of preparing our hearts, Teshuvah, returning and drawing near to God, and getting ready for the Fall Feasts,  High Holidays.

The LORD bless you and keep you!

And a little short from my channel, its called New Wine, and I learned in Hebrew `Yayin Chadesh`!  Enjoy!

יין חדש

I am the vine. You are the branches.  The one who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit, because apart from Me, you can do nothing.

Just as the Father has loved Me, I also have loved you.  Abide in My love!

John 15:5, 9

Shabbat Shalom! The Sparrows greet you

in hope 21 that the creation itself also will be set free from bondage to decay into the glorious freedom of the children of God.  Romans 8:20~21

The branches of the cherry tree are coming nearer to where my husband and I sit in the morning on the bench in the park and have coffee and feed the sparrows.

Today I noticed they were so close and seemed to be in such peace! Then I noticed they were speaking to one another!

`Shabbat Shalom beloved`! one said to the others and I send their greeting to you!

I love how when we come closer to the LORD He draws nearer to us! Literally too as He is spreading over all a canopy of Peace! Come to Him and He will give us rest! He created the Shabbat for man and so I pray you will enter into this appointed time that He has given for us.

In Yeshua`s name I pray.

Here is a song of thanks  to Him and share with you

Give thanks to the LORD for He is good.

His Lovingkindness endures forever!  Psalm 136

Sing it with me as we welcome the Shabbat together from where you are!!  Like the sparrows we too sing!

Love,

❤️

Today`s Shabbat~ It`s all about Shalom!

Let the Shalom of Messiah rule in your hearts -- to this shalom you were surely called in one body.  Also be thankful.    Colossians 3:15

Shabbat Shalom friends.

Shalom.  Yes, that is the word for today! We read in this week`s Torah portion about Phineas, the grandson of the High Priest Aaron, who took matters in his own hands upon encountering an Israelite prince having sexual relations with a Midianite princess in front of the Tent of Meeting.  He took a spear and ran it right through both people together and killed them.

This was a zealous act by Phineas who saw that things were going too far and the people were practicing blatant idolatry and abomination againt God and His Torah.  After his act of violence, the plague that was set upon the people was stopped although already 24000 had died.

After this Phineas was given a B`rit Shalom by God, a Covenant of Peace and everlasting priesthood.  Although it was a violent act, it was pleasing to the LORD as he was acting in accordance with God`s heart for His people.

We read this and are reminded as the people of God to be zealous for the things of God and for the word of God.  Being careful not to be zealous for our own motives, but to be in alignment with God`s heart.

May the shalom that is beyond all understanding be with you and your family in Messiah Yeshua!

 Love ,

Shayndel💕

Kingdom Sparrows! How much Yeshua cares for you!

But above all these things, put on love, which is the bond of perfect harmony.

Colossians 3:14

It had to happen!

The Sparrows are proclaiming the word of Yeshua!!

How much He cares for the sparrows, How much more He cares for you!!

BTW I remember the joy I had when seeing the sparrows in the walls of the stone buildings in Jerusalem on my first day there (on a tour in 2019)! Their song woke me up in my first morning in Israel and welcomed me with their song, and now I understand, they are singing the love song to Yeshua, who loves them so!!  Yesterday I even wrote a song inspired by the second verse, from Colossions 3:14.  Stay tuned! I hope to share my first scripture song before long! These sparrows pictured are local sparrows.  Notice the `cheek` mark , a special characteristic of the sparrows in Japan.

May we take our cues from the precious sparrows and be sure to share the word of God as we go about our ABBA`s business today!!  All of creation, everything that has breath, Praise the LORD!!

I also want to add a wonderful news,  I had the opportunity to share the Salvation prayer with a Japanese woman and her husband yesterday, and both gave their lives to Yeshua! Rejoicing in two new souls saved for the Kingdom of God!! Praise Yahweh!!  I realize just as I am writing this, that on that day there were more souls saved in my Prefecture than there were new cases of the .....(you know what).  Every day let us count and rejoice in the number of Souls Saved for the Kingdom of God, and turn away from the focus on illness and death and turn to Life and Resurrection and Life Everlasting in Yeshua!!

Much love!! Have a blessed day in Yeshua`s Love!

Love, Shayndel ❤️

Are not two sparrows sold for a penny?  Yet not one of them shall fall to the ground apart from your Father`s consent.  But even the hairs of your head are all numbered.  So do not fear; you are worth more than many sparrows.
Matthew 10:29~31

The Blossoming Challah ~ Shabbat Shalom

above:  The Hebrew word `tsuwts` , in challah! , which means bloom and if you replace the `vav` with the `yad`, it means Blossom!!  Below:  in the book of Numbers.

above, `tsuwts` below `tzitz, bloom and blossoming in challah!!

And behold, Aaron`s rod from the house of Levi sprouted, budded, blossomed, and produced almonds!!

Numbers 17:23

Dear friends ,

It had to happen one day

He brought me to the House of Wine! Exciting insight in Song of Songs 2:4 (and `answers` to last week quiz!)

For friends who know Hebrew, you will soon see the error in my hand-writing in the first line of this verse (Song of Songs 2:4)  where the word should be  היין and you will see there is a missing stroke in the `Hey` (see image above) .  This is a mistake I made one year ago and the Holy Spirit so graciously waited to correct me ! (read post below for the story!) And if you don`t know Hebrew, please follow along and enjoy as the insights may get you drunk on the Holy Spirit!!!

In progress (image above and below), corrected the letter `Hey`

 Part 1

the ` House of the Wine! `

הֱבִיאַנִי אֶל-בֵּית הַיָּיִן, וְדִגְלוֹ עָלַי אַהֲבָה

He brought me to the house of the wine and

His banner over me is Love ~~

Literal translation of Song of Songs 2:4

Do you recognize the verse above in  Song of Songs? Hint, it is the verse in the postcard in post below, and looking at a literal translations, you see the words  `The house of Wine!!`

I found the word for `banquet` is literally  `wine` or, as used in the verse, the wine!!

בֵּית הַיָּיִן

I discovered this through the drawing in the postcard below!! I made the drawing at least a year ago , during the week of Parsha Shelach Lecha, and...

God waited patiently to reveal to me that I had made a mistake in the Hebrew!

I was surprised to discover it when working on the postcard with my AHAVA collaborator and prayer partner,Aimei.  It was last week, in the very same week of Shelach Lecha.

During our meeting, I discovered I had left out one stroke in the letter `hey` and so it looked like a `dalet`.

I hadn`t even noticed it for a whole year until we were working on the postcard the other day!! And because of it I found out the word there is `wine`!!!  To be honest, when I originally wrote out the verse I was just `copying` the letters for my Hebrew practice and wasn`t focused on the words themselves.

In showing me the error now,   He `brought me to the banquet table` to commune with Him and enter the verse and showed me the word `wine`!!

As you can see in our faces in the little zoom picture, we both got excited about this, it was like a live moment of gracious correction and revelation by the Holy Spirit!!

Also God reveals to us in our yearly study of Torah how when we come back to the same Torah portion year after year and pray from the scriptures, He is fine tuning us to align with Him and to get things right and oh how He guides us in his LOVING ways!!!

Then I searched the verse a little more and found another word,  that we often see as `table` is actually `beit` which is `House`!! or other meanings, Household, or even family.

So this expression in that moment we saw this verse with a new interpretation, to us like `Family, or Household of Wine` and since Wine brings us to the `Vine`, and abiding in Messiah Yeshua,  we saw it as `He brought us to the Family of Messiah!`  or the table of the family of Messiah.  It was so meaningful as He showed us this `corporate` interpretation as a `family` or even `household` in Messiah as we abide in His love and in His word!! And this is our preparation as His bride as the whole body,or family, of Messiah(not forgetting of course the song of songs is a wedding song!)

I hope you might get excited about that as we did! Or even a little bit! And that this insight blesses you as we come into approaching Shabbat again this week and approach His `table` and coming together with Him in the Family of Messiah.

Part 2

`Answers` to quiz in post below

where I asked if anyone could find the scripture references that are hinted at in the postcard from the Parsha Shelach Lecha.

They are

1.  Big Grapes!

They reached the wadi Eschol, and there they cut down a branch with a single cluster of grapes--it had to be borne on a carrying frame by two of them -- and some pomegranates and figs.  That place was named the wadi Eschol because of the cluster that the Israelites cut down there.  Numbers 13:23~24

The big grapes on the table is a reference to the `big grapes` that were brought back by the spies to show the abundance of produce in the Promised Land!

2.  Challah

You shall make a gift to the LORD from the first yield of your baking, throughout the ages.   Numbers 15:21

The mitzvot of Challah is given in this parsha! Hence two big loaves of fluffy challah are on the `banquet table` of the LORD in this picture!!  May we give ourselves fully to Him from our heart!

 3.  Tzitzit

see Numbers 16:37, commandment for Tzitzit!

You can see the prayer shawl or `talit` on the one in the picture.  Who is depicted in the picture? Its up to you, I see it as representing the Holy Spirit and the little girl (me?! you?!) dining and delighting in Yeshua`s love!!

4.  The House of Wine and His banner of Love!

Now you know the verse that this refers to, though it is not in the parsha per se, the whole Torah and all of God`s word is an expression of His Love and an invitation to His table and to abide in Him!!!

Yeshua says, Abide in my Love!!! That is what I learned from this parsha study and every day as we `come to the house of wine` under His banner of AHAVA, Love!!

Blessings and AHAVA!

Shabbat Shalom!!

❤️

Shabbat Shalom! Parsha Postcard ~ Shelach Lecha!

He brought me to the banqueting house, and His banner over me is Love.

 Shabbat Shalom!

❤️

Love,

Shayndel

Please feel free to print out as a postcard and share a Shabbat greeting of AHAVA (God`s Love) with your family and friends!

Can you notice any of the `hints` in the drawing that refer to this week`s Parsha Shelach Lecha?

I will come back with `answers` after Shabbat !  Hope you enjoy `scouting them out`!!

Yes, `scouting them out` is a word that refers to this weeks reading, as it is the word for when the  men , one from each of the 12 tribes,  were sent to the Promised Land to scout it out to give a report about entering the Land (see Numbers 13:1~15:41, Joshua 2:1 ~24, and Hebrews 3:7~9).

Remember only Joshua and Caleb came back with a good report.  The other ten `spies` gave a negative report about the land of Israel (Canaan) and saw themselves as `grasshoppers` and were afraid of the `giants`!!

I discovered (scouted out!) through reading the parsha this week that the word `to scout, spy` in Hebrew is:

 TUR  תור  Strongs Hebrew #8446

Amazingly, this word appears 12 times in the parsha in regard to this incident of scouting out the land and the `sin of the spies` who did not get to enter the land due to their negative report.

The next discovery is that the word TUR, that very same word, is used an additional time in the verse at the end of the Parsha about the commandment for tzitit.

The men of B`nei Israel are commanded to wear a blue fringe on the corners of their garments so that they `shall look at it and recall all the commandments of the LORD and observe them, so that you do not follow your heart and eyes into your lustful urge`.   (Numbers 15:39) This word `follow` is also the same Hebrew word TUR!!

I found this very exciting and even poignant that the word for scouting out in reference to the Land is the same word that is used in scouting out our hearts, in reference to following the LORD`s commandments as we look into our hearts and be sure to follow His ways and not ours!!

May we go forward into this Shabbat with delight in the LORD of Shabbat, Yeshua, and keep our eyes on Him!  As we Magnify Him we will see that everything else becomes small like grasshoppers, let us not give into fear but rather Fear the LORD!,   and may those things that are not of Him be eradicated out from our lives.  May HIS glory fill the Land of Israel and all the world!!  And may all the nations too open their eyes to give a GOOD report about Israel and stand with the apple of God`s eye!!

As believers in Messiah and in the God of Israel, may we believe in the things unseen, in faith, and share a good report about Israel, and stand with Israel. In doing so we not only share in God`s heart of love for the Jewish people and protecting all the people and land of eretz Israel, and we also help prepare the way for Messiah`s return where He will step foot on the Mt. of Olives!!!

May it be speedily and in our day!

Trust in the LORD and do good,

abide in the land and remain loyal.

Seek the favor of the LORD,

and He will grant you the desires of your heart.

Leave all to the LORD;

trust in Him; He will do it.

Psalm 37:3~6 (and all of Psalm 37!)

 בְּטַח בַּיהוָה, וַעֲשֵׂה-טוֹב

  שְׁכָן-אֶרֶץ, וּרְעֵה אֱמוּנָה

Shabbat Shalom! Parsha Postcard!

 Shabbat Shalom!

Love,

Shayndel

💖

PS feel free to print out as a postcard and share a Shabbat greeting with your family and loved ones!

PS dear friends, adding little `blurb` on the parsha inspiration for the drawing!

As God cannot be contained in the Tabernacle or any place we make for Him here on earth,  how can we put all that is in this parsha into a few short paragraphs!?  I am overwhelmed by how much there is in it!  The Golden Menorah, the silver trumpets, the Cloud of Glory, the almond blossoms patterned on the menorah branches.  There is the presenting of the Levites to the Lord, the second Passover, the cloud covering the Tabernacle,  and moving the Tabernacle as the cloud lifts.  We read of the grumbling, praying, prophesying, the sin of Miriam.  And how the whole of Israel waits for her to be healed before they move on.

We also find in this parsha the words that were said whenever the Ark would set out (Numbers 10:35~36).  These same words are said in synagogues today when the Torah Scrolls are removed from the Ark!

Arise, O Lord, may Your enemies be scattered!

The light of the Menorah that is attended to so carefully and continually by Aaron, which opens this parsha,  is always to remain lit.  Yeshua commands us to be the Light of the World.  We do that by abiding in Him, keeping our passion alive through prayer and worship, being lead by His Holy Spirit by day and by night!!  Dear Heavenly Father,  Please reveal Yourself to us and fill us always with new anointing, so we can shine our light for others and bring glory to You in the name of our Eternal King and Messiah Yeshua!

Shabbat Shalom! Three Hebrew Words in Challah from the Book of Ruth

But now these three remain --- faith, hope, and love.  And the greatest of these is love.   1 Corinthians 13:13*

(*this scripture here because the story of Ruth is a LOVE story, though these are not the three words I did in Challah, I think I will have to do these three words in challah for another upload!! Read on to find out what the three words in challah are today.  Or rather, you will have to watch Part 1 at least to find out the words!! Enjoy!)

Dear Friends,

Just coming in for a quick hello and to say Shabbat Shalom!

For your viewing pleasure and hopefully some Hebrew learning and insights, I am sharing this mini-series in 3 parts,  freshly made.  We haven`t done a word study in Challah for some time, and I felt a divine encouragement to make these three words !!! They are three words in Hebrew from the Book of Ruth.

As you know the book of Ruth is read at Shavout for its taking place in the Harvest season as well as for the coming together in a love story of Ruth and Boaz and the strong echoes of the bringing forth of Messiah Yeshua ....generations later!!!

Well, I can`t write much now as I have to clean up my house for Shabbat and spent all morning making the video! I hope you might watch and enjoy it, and that there might be something in it that blesses you.  As I told another blog friend/sister, I felt the LORD wanted me to post this series before Shabbat, so I am premiering it here!!

Blessings all and Shabbat Shalom!

Much Love,❤️

Two Shavuot Loaves! (1) A story of AHAVA in the time of Harvest!

wheat sheaves from Japan!

You are to bring out of your houses two loaves of bread for a wave offering, made of two tenths of an ephah of fine flour.  They are to be baked with hametz as firstfruits to ADONAI.  Leviticus 23:17

This year was the second time I made the two Shavuot loaves with my AHAVA Prayer partner in Japan.   We are in  2 different parts of Japan, so we made them together as we met on Zoom!!

We had  an intimate and wonderful time making them.  The night before our meeting, we had met with friends from our AHAVA fellowship and read the book of Ruth together (also on Zoom!*).   Being able to connect around the world on Zoom has been such an amazing blessing during this time of `shutdown`.  We read about the meeting and marriage of Ruth and Boaz in sonorous voices with accents from many nations.  God showed us revelations in His word as we read about Ruth the Moabite (as she is called in the early part of the story) and Boaz, the Goel (kinsman redeemer) from the line of Judah~~ and how they came together in this beautiful love story in the time of the Harvest!! Of course, from their union came Messiah Yeshua ...(how many?) generations later!!

So back to the loaves ( I hope to share some of the insights from book of Ruth on another post!).

We came together as Jew and Gentile to make and lift up two loaves to Yeshua!  We were getting a little giddy as everything came together in His AHAVA.  As we counted 6 Tablespoons of sugar, Aimei said, `6 Tablespoons, 6 weeks!`.  and when we put in the 2 eggs we said, `2 eggs, 2 loaves!`.  We were counting numbers and counting omer as we also are reading in the Torah just now in starting in the book of Numbers!!

We Praise you LORD for your Love!

AHAVA in Hebrew means, Love.

Our Thanksgiving verse this week was perfect for the Bride.

Counting up to the day of Shavuot we invite the Holy Spirit to pour out afresh on us and on the Body of Messiah. To bring His Shalom upon Israel.

Reading the Word of God and making Challah go together well!  Man cannot live by bread alone!  So in the time when the bread was rising and when it was baking we prayed through our prayer sheet for our children and loved ones and Israel and nations.

You can find our prayer sheet from the parsha Bamidbar HERE, which is the week we were in when making the loaves.

As I had a little dough left out from the loaves, I made a heart challah to represent two loaves becoming one!! (more on that in the next post).

May we be One in Yeshua in this season of Shavuot/Pentecost and may the harvest be great and an outpouring of God`s love as brothers come to together and dwell together!! May we see the true peace in Yeshua, Prince of Peace, upon Israel!

Much Love and blessings,

Shayndel (Joanne) ❤️

I in them and You in Me-- that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me and loved them as You loved Me.

John 17:24

Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem and all Israel ~ Psalm 122

A Song of Ascents.  Of David.

I rejoiced when they said to me,

"Let us go the the House of ADONAI."

Our feet are standing in your gates, Jerusalem

Jerusalem, built as a city joined together.

There the tribes go up, the tribes of ADONAI

--as a testimony to Israel --

to praise the Name of ADONAI.

For there thrones for judgment are set up,

the thrones of the house of David.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem --

"May those who love you be at peace!

May there be shalom within your walls --

quietness within your palaces. "

For the sake of my brothers and friends,

I now say "Shalom be within you."

For the sake of the House of ADONAI our God.

I will seek your good.

Ascension Sky!

While they were staring into heaven as He went up, suddenly two men stood with them in white clothing.  They said, "Men of Galilee, why do you keep standing here staring into heaven?  This Yeshua, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw Him go into heaven."    Acts 1:10~11

Yesterday I stood and stared into heaven!  I was outside around 5PM and looked up at the sky, or rather, the sky almost seemed to have come down to meet the earth and brought my glance upwards to see a glorious cloud spotted dome with the sapphire blue of heaven making a supernatural glow and lighting up the early evening.

It seemed to be announcing something special and then I remembered!!

It is the 40th day of the omer and the day that Yeshua went up to heaven as I just wrote about in a post the other day!!

It was so wonderful to stand beneath this Ascension Day Sky and then, I saw eagles circling above!!

A majestic sign of God`s Heavenly love and reminder to be prepared!!

In the scriptures these next 10 days were the days that the disciples waited in expectation for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.  On that day 3000 souls were saved! May we too wait expectedly and be in One accord, in one place and ready to receive on Shavuot!! May all our unsaved loved ones receive an outpouring of the Holy Spirit and know their Salvation in Yeshua!  May those of us who know Him be brought together as One in the rushing of the Ruach HaKodesh wind!!

Blessings and Love! Happy counting!

Shabbat Shalom everyone!

Love,

Shayndel/Joanne!

PS I am also reminded of this verse in the book of Exodus, and the revelation that this description of God`s feet tells us that who could that have been standing on the Sapphire stone of Heaven!! Indeed, Yeshua!!!

They saw the God of Israel, and under His feet was something like a pavement of sapphire, as clear as the very heavens.

Exodus 24:10

Israel `Short`!

Look down from Your holy abode, from heaven, and bless Your people Israel and the soil You have given us, a land flowing with milk and honey, as You swore to our fathers.

Deuteronomy 26:15

Hi Friends,

Thank you for your comments on my Breakfast on the Galilee post below!

Just something funny, yesterday on my i-phone the `i-photo` showed up automatically with a little Short Video of photos from my Israel trip!  It was automatically generated and appeared as `For you` in  i-Photo!

(every so often it does that!)

So just for fun sharing it here, for you!

You will see some tie-ins to the `breakfast` theme! As well as the last scene you can get a glimpse of the Sea of Galilee!!  Also featured are my Shalom fans, and some other special moments like a visit to the spot where Yeshua spoke His Sermon on the Mount speech, and another clip where we were at the Northern Border overlooking Syria, all moments that `i-photo` put in randomly (looks like it was one day of the tour) from my Israel photos!!

Enjoy!

Grilled Fish and 40 Days!

Yeshua said to them, "Come, have breakfast."

None of the disciples dared ask Him, "Who are you?"--knowing it was the Lord.

 John 21:12 (English, Hebrew)

As we count up the Omer, soon we are getting to 40 days, a day in Hebrew calendar called MEM B`Omer.  Mem (מ) מם is the 13th letter of the Hebrew alphabet and the number `40` in Hebrew counting.

The 40th day from after Passover is the day that Yeshua went up to Heaven to sit at the right Hand of the Father!*  Isn`t it exciting as these 40 days (we are in day 38 today as I write) were the days He would have been appearing to the Disciples. All of the appearances He made to them  after His Resurrection were in the counting of the omer days that we are in now, including  fellowship with them, opening up the Scriptures to them, and making them breakfast.

So when they got out onto the land, they saw a charcoal fire with fish placed on it, and bread.
John 21:9

Hence the `grilled fish` in the post title!!

It is exciting times! As we await Shavuot and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit afresh, may we be ready! One bride for our Bridegroom.  Its really happening as Jew and Gentile are coming together as the Father calls us to be One in Messiah!!

I also wanted to share a post I wrote this time last year.  When I visited Israel and had a `breakfast with Yeshua` experience, which made the scripture come alive to me! Photo above: Breakfast with Yeshua, Sea of Galillee (2019).  You can read that post HERE if you would like, hope it blesses you and that we will meet Him this year for new revelation, and even for grilled fish!

LeChayiim (To LIFE!), as we count up to the appointed `Moadim` of Shavout!!

Much Love in Yeshua.

Look forward to those 153 fish and more in the catch this year as many many more than that turn their hearts to Yeshua, Jesus in a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit to become `One new man` in Messiah this Shavuot and Pentecost!!

Happy Counting!!

Love, ❤️

Shayndel/Joanne (And a personal PS as I was researching the Scriptures of when Yeshua appeared to the disciples during these days of the Omer, I saw that one of the woman is `Joanna` (Luke 24:9~10)*.   Though I must have seen it before, I was excited to note that  `Joanne` in the scriptures! And in Hebrew N.T., written as Yochana (there is no `J` in Hebrew), like this:

יוחנה
