ADONAI bless you and keep you!
ADONAI make His face shine on you

ADONAI turn His face to you and

Kissed by Jesus (undedited!)

When I was seeking the face of God,
he reached down,
no not reached,
he came all the way down,
he sat beside me,
well, I don't know if it was sitting,
because it was His face I asked to see,
and there it was, this warm big cozy cheek, coming down so close to mine,
and then he just wrapped his whole being around me and gave me a great big smackeroo!!
On the cheek!!

My cheeks lit up!
I hope you can see that if you see my face now.

Its all rosy oh, His kisses are like roses!
They don't just stop there.
They blossom and flower like roses, and before you know it,
you are just there in the Garden. In the Garden, with Yeshua.

You listened to His command.  You knew that there are just some things that are His, and He sets them as pillars in our midst.

And He is glad when you, in doing so,  let Him come so close to You.
It is His desire.  To draw near to us.

(hopefully a drawing to follow.  Meanwhile gotta start a challah and preparing for Shabbat!!)
Blessings and love,

Bread of the Presence

Also you are to take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes of it, with two tenths of an epah in each cake.  Then you are set them in two rows, six in a row, on the pure gold table before ADONAI.  Set pure frankincense on each row, as a memorial portion for the bread, an offering by fire to ADONAI.  Every Yom Shabbat he is to set it in order before ADONAI continually, it is an everlasting covenant on behalf of B' nei Israel.

---Leviticus 24:5~8

To a person who makes Challah, the Parsha this week really came alive.
For one thing, Challah, the Hebrew word itself, is mentioned twice in the scripture (verses above, from Parsha Emor, where the word "cake" is in the English).
For another, there is just so much expressed through the Bread of Presence and God just really spoke to me through it.

Whatever is your passion, I believe that God speaks to us in His word through that, as well as in countless other ways.  What you will hear or see or perceive or learn or be drawn to in the same scripture will be different for each person, as God is the same, but He speaks to us each differently through His marvelous, living word.   I realized in reading the parts in Leviticus about the show breads, that I just needed to express them and have them  "present" this Shabbat.

Without putting it into too many words,  the pure experience of setting this up brought such joy and ushered in His Presence.  It was a  special time of worship, together with my new friend Mayim.  Like David, we hungerly ate the Bread of presence, and like David, we Danced!

Blessings and Shalom.  Shavu'a Tov.  Have a blessed week in His great Presence.

Love,

I urge you therefore, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice--holy, acceptable to God--which is your spiritual service.  Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the will of God---what is good and acceptable and perfect.

PS to the rainbow, postcard from a rainy day

A woman is beautiful even when she is dripping wet from the rain!

Have a great day and shine your light, whatever the weather today.

Rainbow over the Castle

It was children's day and boy did Father surprise us♡

Give thanks to the God of Heaven,
for his love endures forever.
Psalm 136:26

There was a giant inflatable rainbow over the Castle this weekend.

The hydraulic lifts and preparations to make the rainbow were all put in place for just a two day festival.  There were people, mostly families, but it wasn't like there were huge crowds.
So who would go through all that to make a few children happy?!
To me it was something from the Heart of our Heavenly Father!!  He longs to give us the desires of our hearts.  He loves to see His children happy.

I didn't know about it until I woke up on Shabbat morning and heard a song playing from somewhere outside.  Even though in Japan, its not unusual to hear music piped in from somewhere on the streets, it still took me by surprise, especially as it was a song I knew.  It made me to jump up to see where it was coming from,..and  that is when I saw there was a giant rainbow !

The lyrics were in English,
they seemed to be for me, "I would be the sunshine in your universe...
You would think my love was really something good
Baby if I could
Change the world
If I could be king
Even for a day
I’d take you as my queen
I’d have it no other way
And our love would rule
In this

The second day of the festival it rained.  This family caught my eye.  They seemed perfect there with the little boy with the rainbow umbrella.   It was Children's Day in Japan that day.  In Japan, Children's Day is a National Holiday, part of a week of holidays called Golden Week.  At the festival there were balloons shaped into animals and hearts for the children, and a crazy giant lift from which candy was released.  It looked like the candy was falling from the sky!

I have no idea where or who this festival came from, but as all things come from God, I saw in it His heart for families, doing simple things and gathering under his rainbow... and as His daughter,   felt His great love through this surprise rainbow !!
He is the sunshine in our universe!  His Love is really something good He can and does change the world, He Created it and He is King!!  The festival was just for two days, but thankfully, His Love is forever!
Blessings and a wonder-full day to you!

Love,

Shayndel

note on the Omer counting; during those two days it was so greatly synchronized during the counting of the omer.  Just before night, the rainbow was deflated and so it was like the rainbow disappeared, then perfectly after, the lights of the Castle went on at exactly 7PM just as it became dark.  And as I mentioned we often have music piped in from outside, so the 7 O"clock music was played, and just then I would pick up my i-pad and read the blessings for the counting of the omer!!!  Today is thirty-nine days, which is five weeks and four days of the Omer.
