Galilee Succah! Menuchah! and AHAVA!

Dear Friends,

Welcome back! I hope you are all well!

I took an unintentional blog break during the season of Fall Feasts.  I hope you all had a blessed time during the Feasts of the LORD from Elul to Sukkot to rejoicing in Simchat Torah!!!

I am posting this post as a `waiting room` to invite you to enjoy this view of the sunrise on the sea of Galilee through the `Galilee Succah` ~~outside of time and space, as this photo was taken at the Pomegranate Hotel a few springs ago! *Actual name and location is the Rimonim hotel (Rimonim= Pomegranates!) on the Sea of Galilee in Israel!

Menuchah (word in post title ) means rest and is a word for this week as well as I am coming back to the blog in the week of Parsha Noah!  Noah`s name means `rest` in Hebrew.   In the story of Noah we can see so many foreshadows of the true fulfillment of God`s promised rest and Salvation in Yeshua who says,

Come to me all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.  Matthew 11:28 (the word `rest` in Hebrew is Menuchah)

I will hope to share a few posts from the holidays.  Some highlights included the first miracle, which was that my daughter came home for Rosh Hashanah!! It was so wonderful to see her! And the second was that I was able to build my first succah `outside` of my home for others to enjoy in the community at the start of the holiday of Sukkot!  Both were answers to prayer!  To spend the beginning of the holidays with my daughter, and to share the feasts of the LORD with my community in Japan!!

Meanwhile I also have started a new Website for AHAVA Prayer and Movement!

Please stop by at:

See you again soon !! ❤️

Love and Blessings,

Shayndel

May mercy and shalom and love*  be multiplied to you.    Judah (Jude)  1:2

*~ AHAVA!~

  1. I was just reading in Isaiah 63, ...“the Spirit of the LORD gave them rest.”

    1. Amen! Thank you Sandi for sharing. I just found it! Isaiah 63:14, root word there for rest is indeed `nuach`!! Praise the LORD. He is speaking to us all through His word and through His Ruach (Spirit) about wanting to give us rest. Halleluyah❤️

  4. Shayndel: So nice to know you are safe and had a nice visit from your daughter. Our son was home two weekends ago for his dad's (my husband's) birthday. It is always nice to have our son with us. I know that's how you feel about having your daughter with you for the holidays. Peace and blessings to you and yous.

  9. Hi Brenda、 Thank you for stopping by and your uplifting words! I hope you enjoyed a virtual visit near the sea of Galilee through your visit here!! I like the expression `how fortunate`, reminds me of the wording in Revelation 22:14!

How fortunate are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the Tree of Life and may enter through the gates into the city. Rev 22:14, TLV

Blessings and a peace-filled week to you in Yeshua`s Love!!

  10. What a blessing it would be to be able to sit by the Sea of Galilee and think of our Lord teaching his disciples to become "Fishers of Men." Praying all is well with you.

  11. Thank you Gloriade. Such a beautiful word, blessed by that yes, thinking of our LORD there teaching his disciples, and teaching us today!! BTW, I loved swimming there in the few days we spent on the Galillee I would wake up early and take a swim in the sea!! Praying all is well with you too! Blessings and Shalom. Shabbat Shalom.❤️
