Simcha in Challah!! or Challah Simchah |
The LORD your God is in your midst. He is mighty to save. He will rejoice over you with gladness. He will quiet you with His love. He will rejoice over you with singing.
Zephaniah 3:17
Hi Friends and Happy 5781!! Thank you for your kind greetings and comments!!! Thanks to you, and all your encouragement on my challah adventures, at the start of the year I will be assisting in a class of Biblical Hebrew, using the Hebrew letters in Challah as part of the class.
The class is open to all who are interested to start learning Biblical Hebrew in this new season, you are welcome to join! Please let me know if you would like more details, as it is still open to join up to this coming week.
The class will meet for 9 Sundays at 8:30 PM Japan time, that is 7:30 AM Eastern Standard time, and for other time zones according to where you are. I will be sharing for part of the lesson by using the Hebrew letters in challah to introduce words, in this class given by TAV Ministries in Western Australia. I`m excited to be starting the season using the challah, bread of life to teach the Hebrew letters and to being able share the Word of God in this way.
Does anyone know the word in Challah above? You have seen it before in recent posts. Yes, it is Simcha! It means `joy`, or as in the scripture above, gladness!!
May your JOY be full and your New Year Sweet!
♡
Love, Shayndel
These things have I spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you
and that your joy may be full.
John 15:11
Good Luck to all participants of the biblical hebrew class!
ReplyDeleteHi Duta! Thank you so much for your well wishes. It went really well. There were 23 participants from 5 countries!! Singapore, Malaysia, U.S. , Japan (me*), Australia!!! Maybe more countries, I am not sure where everyone was from. . Our teacher started us with all having a spoon of honey to learn the sweetness of His word, he shared about how Jewish children learn that way! Be encouraged dear Duta!! God has not forgotten His people Israel. Its very exciting people are so eager to learn Biblical Hebrew, and to bless Israel . May His word and His love be released into all the world as we scroll back to the beginning in this year! ♡ Much love and blessings and simcha to you abundant and sweet in 5781!!!
ReplyDeleteHi dear Shayndel, I would be interested in the Hebrew class however the time doesn't work for me. It is way too early in the morning my time plus at the moment I am super busy. Have fun with the class. I'm sure it will be a blessing to the students.
ReplyDeleteHi Joyful, Thank you for checking the time in Canada, and for your encouragement!! I am sure some of the challah part of the lessons will most likely make there way here to the blog, so hope you can pick up a few Hebrew words here when you visit! Many blessings in all that you are doing! The LORD bless you and keep you! Much love!♡
