PS challah in the air, a temporary change of Header

Just changing the header temporarily as I share about my adventures to Israel.     Imagine my excitement to have challah served on the airplane!!   It felt like a gift from heaven...in heaven...it was... a gift ....from Heaven...to receive challah on the tray on the airplane!!

The plane went up, I was met with challah!! God is so good.

And then to land in a land where you can not only find loaves of challah, but a whole nation who observes Shabbat !  And people who greet each other with "Shalom" and a Shalom filling the atmosphere!  Mezzuzot on every door and gate, even in the hotels!  And to top it off,  a whole bus load of fellowship to  hear and sing songs of praise with the whole way through, well, you might just say this Challah and Cherry Blossoms correspondent was just filled to the brim with simcha* to be in Israel!!

*simcha = joy

    Beautiful header!
    You were offered on the plane the very thing you love most: challah. It probably had the best taste you could have imagined.
    Challah - one of the symbols of Shabbath table.
    I'm sure you still feel in the air, although you're already on the ground.

    How wonderful to be in Israel, to see where Jesus walked, to visit the famous places in the Bible. I am so curious how further your journey will go.

      Thank you Hobbyloes. Yes, We had a communion in the place of the Garden Tomb, stood on the Mt. of Olives, baptized in the Jordon river... I will share more of the places and photos, somehow I am slow to post (how does everyone do it so simultaneously to the experience??!) I will share more of the places so please stay tuned.       Thank you Quietspirit. Yes, those moments that God meets us in a personal way are sometimes the holiest. I found that even as I was at the holy sites, the moments that I felt the deep connection and His presence were not necessarily there, but rather in those times where He meets us in a personal way、in candid moments, like with the challah, the sparrows, the divine encounters with people and living moments through which we can hear His voice and His heart...
