The plane went up, I was met with challah!! God is so good.
And then to land in a land where you can not only find loaves of challah, but a whole nation who observes Shabbat ! And people who greet each other with "Shalom" and a Shalom filling the atmosphere! Mezzuzot on every door and gate, even in the hotels! And to top it off, a whole bus load of fellowship to hear and sing songs of praise with the whole way through, well, you might just say this Challah and Cherry Blossoms correspondent was just filled to the brim with simcha* to be in Israel!!
*simcha = joy
Much love and Blessing, from the ground but still somewhat in the air! Love,
Shayndel
Simcha! :)
ReplyDeleteA little airplane challah...who would have thought!
Yes!! Wasn't it the sweetest!!
DeleteThanks Sandi!
Simcha!
♡:)!
Beautiful header!
ReplyDeleteYou were offered on the plane the very thing you love most: challah. It probably had the best taste you could have imagined.
Challah - one of the symbols of Shabbath table.
I'm sure you still feel in the air, although you're already on the ground.
Thank you Duta!
DeleteYes, it was heavenly all around!
Always love how you put it! and yes, still a little in the air, and need to touch feet on the ground and integrate the new experiences!! Blessings!♡
How wonderful to be in Israel, to see where Jesus walked, to visit the famous places in the Bible. I am so curious how further your journey will go.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice trip.♥
Thank you Hobbyloes. Yes, We had a communion in the place of the Garden Tomb, stood on the Mt. of Olives, baptized in the Jordon river... I will share more of the places and photos, somehow I am slow to post (how does everyone do it so simultaneously to the experience??!) I will share more of the places so please stay tuned. Much love ♡
DeleteI'm sure you are totally blessed by your trip to Israel. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteThank you Joyful! Yes, it was like a homecoming as well as being new in each moment. Much love. ♡
DeleteThis sounds quite nice, even holy.
ReplyDeleteThank you Quietspirit. Yes, those moments that God meets us in a personal way are sometimes the holiest. I found that even as I was at the holy sites, the moments that I felt the deep connection and His presence were not necessarily there, but rather in those times where He meets us in a personal way、in candid moments, like with the challah, the sparrows, the divine encounters with people and living moments through which we can hear His voice and His heart... Much love. Blessings! ♡
DeletePS Sorry such a long wordy reply to your few and sweet words, I hope I didn't make it "un-holy" by talking too much.
