The L-RD spoke again to Moses, saying, "Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, `The L-RD`s appointed times which you shall proclaim as holy convocations--My appointed times are these...These are the appointed times of the L-RD, holy convocations which you shall proclaim at the times appointed for them. In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at twilight is the L-RD`s Passover. Then on the fifteenth day of the same month there is the Feast of Unleavened Bread to the L-RD; for seven days you shall eat unleavened bread."
---Exodus 12:17
You shall also observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread, for on this very day I brought your hosts out of the land of Egypt; therefore you shall observe this day throughout your generations as a permanent ordinance.
---Leviticus 23:1, 4~6
Thank you for reading in the recent posts about some of the preparations that go into Passover. I hope your cabinet clearing, heart searching, and cleansing went well.
As we cleansed the house of `chametz` (leaven) and asked G-d to search our hearts we are at last ready to sit down to the Passover table and partake in the Seder!
