In Remembrance of Yom HaShoah--Holocaust Remembrance Day

I am always full of words when posting but for this post I really don't have words but the more I go through the years on the Torah cycle the more connected I feel to the 6 million Jewish people and souls who were horribly murdered during the Holocaust and the importance to remember.

I am posting a page from my Torah Lesson for kids that I started during the time of quarrantine, and at the start of the lesson wanted to pause and dedicate our Torah lesson to those souls.  By remembering may it be certain that it can never happen again and may anti-Semitism in all forms be rooted out---pulled out from the roots---from our world.

Blessings and Shalom to all.

Love

Shayndel

  3. Thanks, Shayndel, for this important post of Remembrance.
The Shoa (Holocaust) leaves us all wordless and speechless.
My parents were Shoa survivors,; I'm named 'Rifca' after my mother's youngest sister that perished in the Shoa. My tiny sister whom I never saw ( I was born after the war) also perished there. May their souls rest in Peace!

    1. Thank you Duta. I am touched by your sharing and didn't know how close you were to the Holocaust with having parents who were survivors and family members who perished. I am so sorry. Your closeness to it reminds us all how important it is to remember. I confess there were years where I was not remembering , I think all my childhood I was scared and in denial about it and didn't know how to process it in my heart, and that even was one of the reasons that I "ran away" from God. It is only since returning to Him that I can "remember". Amen, May their beloved souls rest in Peace. Much love to you and God's comfort to your heart.♡

  4. Let us never forget the horrors we've done to the Jewish people. May those who've lost their lives in the Holocaust rest in peace and their loved be comforted that all is not lost in Yeshua. xx

  5. Thank you friends. Your heartfelt replies remind me how we all have a part to bring about repentance, healing and forgiveness.I can't wait to see when not only is there no "anti-Semitism", but rather that we will see more and more "pro-Semitism" on the rise!! May the outright LOVE of the Jewish people and Israel increase in new ways that we have never seen before!! Much love ♡
